Abstract

This article consists of a study of a pre-Hispanic bone flute from Mamiña, northern Chile. The cultural context of the find is presented, a brief review on the presence of this type of artifact in regional prehistory, the detailed description of the instrument including photographic record and the conclusions regarding the results obtained.
