Estimación de la precipitación mensual por un método de downscaling en el sudoeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work is part of an integrated study of the principal factors for the seasonal variation in the hydrologic resources of the Pampa Region, Argentina, and the de- velopment of advanced climate forecast methods. Its objective is to evaluate the capacity of a statistical procedure designed to estimate the local monthly rainfall from atmospheric data over each site and its interactions with the surface. The pur- pose of this research is to develop a reliable method for forecasting local rainfall anomalies of seasonal scale from climate forecast results based on a general circula- tion model for the atmosphere.
