Representaciones fotográficas del habitar en Mendoza, Argentina. Registros en la Revista La Nueva Era(1907)

Abstract

During the first years of the XXth Century, Mendoza experimented transcendental changes. Ways of living were affected. By analyzing several photographs published in the magazine La Nueva Era, we intend to understand conditions of life in Mendoza in two modalities: petite-hotels and conventillos. We are especially interested in representation codes of different housing in the early twentieth century.
