Abstract

In this article I focus on Moseteneans indigenous people miths worth as historic and cultural support for their territory conservation struggle, in the municipality of Palos Blancos, La Paz departament, Bolivia. For this purpose I have compiled a number of oral stories through interviews, comparing with other compilations from different years and of those from neighbouring indigenous peoples. I emphasize the myth of origin of the deed of the god Dohit, seeking to identify the most important elements that reinforce the struggle of the Moseteneans for the conservation and sustainable use of their territory. Subsequently, he complements this analysis from the political ontology of the configuration of the moseten space that includes, in addition to the territory, the cultural elements of its worldview.
