Abstract
The ethnobotany of Latin-American native people always surprised us with the forms of order, name and use plants. This article shows us how an Amazonian Indian society, the aguaruna, belonging to the Jibaro ethnolinguistic group, classified fungi in the rainforest. The two basic criteria that are used: edible and non-edible.
